Once again, the Algeciras Port Authority has participated as part of the jury of the XVI edition of the atrÉBT competition, whose final awards ceremony was held on June 6 at the School of Engineering of the University of Cadiz, in Puerto Real.
Juan Antonio Herrera, Head of Innovation of the APBA and who has participated in the entire evaluation process, was present at a final event that was attended by prominent authorities, including the rector of the University of Cadiz, Casimiro Mantell, and key figures from the business and governmental spheres, such as Javier Sánchez Rojas, president of the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Cadiz (CEC), and Blanca Flores, sub-delegate of the Government in Cadiz.

atrÉBT is an initiative organised by the Vice-Rectorate for Entrepreneurship and Employability of the University of Cadiz that seeks to promote entrepreneurship among students and recent graduates, offering them a platform to present innovative projects with commercial potential and social impact. Among the 121 proposals received this year for the competition, which has established itself as an essential meeting point for young talents who wish to take their ideas to the next level, 14 prizes were awarded divided into the categories of Ideas and Projects.
The event not only celebrated the achievements of the participants, but also served as an inspirational and networking space for all attendees. APBA has been part of this valuable initiative for several years now and, through its participation as a member of the judging panel, reaffirms its commitment to support the educational and professional development of students in the region, as well as to foster their creativity and entrepreneurial spirit.
