PortXchange is a Start-Up founded in Rotterdam (Holland) that provides innovative digital solutions to shipping companies and port communities around the world to become more efficient and reduce their carbon footprint.
Believing that collaboration, digitization and sustainability will shape the future of the shipping industry, PortXchange provides a centralized platform for sharing data and events in real time during the port call of ships to facilitate coordination and communication of all actors involved. Users can use PortXchanges control panel or API to feed data from their own systems. This will reduce delays and downtime and make ship calls more predictable, efficient and sustainable.
The APBA has been working with PortXchange since early 2020 in the process of adopting and implementing the platform as a single and reliable point for data exchange in the Port of Algeciras. It is worth mentioning that currently PortXchange already supports more than 100,000 calls in 5 major commercial ports, including the Port of Rotterdam and the Port of Felixstowe.
As a Port Authority, the exchange of information between the Port Community is facilitated and encouraged in order to offer added value to all its users/customers.
