Summary
Purpose of the Competition
The Innovation Awards ‘Algeciras TechTalent’ to the best final degree projects (TFG), are aimed at students of Higher Degrees related to Digital Transformation in Vocational Training centres in the region, in order to recognise the talent, dedication and innovation of their work.
In the first edition of the award, and within the framework of the Algeciras Port Digital Academy programme, the APBA developed a pilot project in collaboration with students and teachers of the Higher Degree in Multiplatform Applications Development of the IES Saladillo. Within this project, several of the students of this centre developed internships in leading companies of the Port Community, as well as receiving master classes from their professionals and making organised visits to their facilities in order to learn first-hand about their operational processes and the existing professional possibilities in the sector.
Thus, the first edition focused on rewarding the best work produced by the students who had the opportunity to enjoy the aforementioned internship programme.
